Level 01 · Create your profile

We’ll collect the information needed to create your student account and stay in touch:

• Student and parent or guardian details
• Phone number, contact email, and billing email
• How you heard about Silversound
• Virtual lesson details, when applicable
• Attendance policy acknowledgment

For younger students, a parent or legal guardian completes registration.

Level 02 · Open your tutorial

After you join, we’ll send the information you need to get started. Keep an eye out for your registration documents, attendance policy, Member Portal information, scheduling details, and virtual lesson instructions if you’ll be learning online.

Have a question before lesson day? Reply to the welcome message or email our front desk.

Level 03 · Open the portal

Use the Member Portal to check your schedule, review assignments and lesson videos, see billing information, and manage eligible banked lessons. You can also sync your lesson calendar and check your time zone.

Your welcome email will explain how to access your account.

Level 04 · Join the virtual studio

For virtual lessons and weather-related studio closures, Silversound currently uses Discord. We’ll send the invitation and show you how to join, choose your microphone and camera, and find your teacher.

Checkpoint

More than 24 hours’ notice

A lesson may be moved within the same week if the schedule allows. One lesson per four-lesson package may be banked for use within six weeks, subject to teacher availability.

Less than 24 hours’ notice

Your teacher can provide a personalized recorded lesson or assignment through the portal.

No contact or no-show

The scheduled lesson is charged.

Holidays and weather

Holiday closures receive a recorded lesson. Weather closures move to the virtual studio; students who cannot attend receive a video lesson instead.

Our music instructors are highly trained and sought after. With years of experience and also being university trained, we still haven’t forgotten our roots.
