Music Lessons & More

At Silversound Guitar, we believe that music lessons can mean a world of different things, from the most obvious instruments to more obscure. But beyond that, music theory, composition, audio engineering, production, DJing, and digital music development are, in our estimation, also fit under that umbrella. Beyond our basic lessons, Silversound offers so much more to our students. We hold recitals three times a year (April, August, and December) at no additional cost. We offer periodic Spotlights, our one-off classes on topics ranging from instrument maintenance to vocal warmups. These are open to the public (so bring your friends and family). We have our Workshop series, which are weekly classes included in the cost of your tuition. Some current and past courses include Songwriting, Guitar and Bass Fundamentals, Rhythm for Kids, Audio Production, and the Open Jam Class. You can drop in and drop out of these with no obligation (and again, no extra cost).

We’ve covered the Open Jam Class, but Silversound also offers the option of closed, small-group, focused jam classes as well. There is a small additional cost for these, but the benefit is that you will learn with a set group of folks how to play and perform as a band. The student-to-student accountability is one of the best aspects of this arrangement, and the level of joy you’ll feel as you begin to function together as a group is an unparalleled experience.

Our custom space is not only designed to be comfortable, but also to inspire creativity. Our warm inviting atmosphere is unique for music lessons in Colorado Springs. Silversound guitar is a proud to support building community through music. We have the space for you to meet up and engage with other students and other musicians who share similar interests right here in your community.

We believe in keeping our rates affordable. To get you started we offer 30 minute lesson packs. For the student that is eager to get more done we have hour lessons available as well! In addition we offer Jam Classes exclusively for our students and exclusive online content.
