The production class will be going over basics of recording including equipment types, setting up equipment, recording software, recording plugins, and the various recording techniques we use in different situations. This is driven mainly by the students who are there and what they are looking at learning.
Interactive Rhythm Saturdays @12pm with Colin
Beginning Saturday the 21st, our instructor Colin Bovberg will be facilitating a children’s interactive rhythm course! This workshop / jam session is designed for kiddos around elementary school age who aspire to be rock star drummers and percussionists. The course will be focused around learning to read and play many different rhythm patterns, and working together to create them. Our instruments will include practice pads, an electronic drum set, along with some more obscure percussion instruments! If your child would like to bring their own practice pad or hand drum, they are more than welcome. Otherwise, we will be able to provide something for everyone to play on. Parents are welcome to sit in, so bring the kiddos and let’s make some beats together!
Open Jam Saturdays @3pm with Nathan
Nathan will be leading an open jam class once a week, indefinitely! Drop in and out as often as you’d like. No specific commitments required. You can choose if you want to take turns with others and plug in or just play along. Build your confidence and maybe join one of our smaller classes. |
